RELATIONSHIPS
THE DREADED "WILL HE CALL?" Sometimes women stress out if a guy doesn't call them after a date. Here are some tips to remember, according to Dating and Personals. Don't freak out just yet; he may still call. That panic you feel is related to your fear that this will be another disappointment -- and you do not want to deal with another let-down. Think about why there is so much riding on this call for you. Helloooooo, that desperate attitude is why he probably didn't call! This is not your last chance at love. This is less about him calling and more about how you feel about yourself. Some women think it's nice to call or email him the next day to say "thank you" for a fun evening. This is an attempt to keep the connection going while alleviating your fear that he won't call. Resist the urge -- you'll just look needy. Men are pursuers by nature, so if he's interested, he will contact you. Try to stop worrying and go back to your life. Keep busy and keep dating. If he calls, great, and if not, you have to move forward. Most importantly, remember that you've only known this man for a few hours! Just Asking ... What do you do if a guy hasn't called after a date? Do you go all desperate diva on him, or do you sit back and play it cool? Gasp -- Is there anyone who actually called HIM? How'd it go? Just a thought ... Would you really want to be with someone who isn't that in to you? If he hasn't called -- you've lost nothing but someone who doesn't give a DOGGONE about you. And that's what you're whining over?

CAREERS
Don't Walk Off Your Job Are you two seconds from walking off your job? Hold off until you hear some ways to cope, from M-S-N Careers. Give yourself "me time" before work. Develop a positive morning ritual. Treat yourself to a latte, get up early enough to read the paper or just set your alarm to play upbeat music when you wake up. Improving your mornings can do wonders for your afternoons. Use your time to develop your skills. Use your time to make yourself a better candidate down the road. If your company offers training courses, take advantage of them. Turn this job into an opportunity for self improvement. Blow off some steam. Go for a run after work, go swimming on your lunch hour or take a nice long walk. Put this time on your schedule so you will have something to look forward to every day. Treat yourself. To make up for your office misery, find little ways of treating yourself. Treat yourself to ice cream. Buy some flowers. Shop for a new interview suit. Plan your next vacation. Find out what makes you feel better inside, no matter what is going on outside. Maintain your performance. It is important to continue to do your work and do it well, regardless of your current situation. Set personal performance goals. Then use the accomplishments in future interviews. Keep your bridges intact. Don't burn any bridges at your company because you're unhappy. Maintain your contacts and keep your relationships on a positive note. You might just need a reference or a good word from one of your colleagues in the future. Realize that this too shall pass. Keep your chin up and remind yourself that you are in charge of your destiny. Search internal postings for new positions. Start your search for a new job externally.

TO YOUR HEALTH
Did you Know? A study in the journal Chest reveals that patients should be at a certain level of fitness prior to gastric bypass surgery. Looking at 109 patients who took treadmill tests prior to the stomach-shrinking procedure, researchers at William Beaumont Hospital in Michigan found that 17 percent of those with poor fitness levels suffered serious complications from the procedure, including kidney failure and blood clots
