Totem Books’ Poets & Writers Night is an open mic style event where you can share your beautiful poetry and prose! It’s totally free to attend and you don’t have to register ahead of time to perform. It happens every last Saturday of the month so come check it out sometime!

Flint Drop Fest XIII – 12pm-10pm. Buckham Alley, Flint, MI. FLINT DROP FEST is a FREE bass music festival sprawling Downtown Flint on Saturday August 9, 2025. Voted attraction of the Year in 2024 and setting up for 2025 to be the biggest and best year yet!

Back To Bricks Car Cruise. US 23 Digital Drive In Theater. Tuesday, August 12th from 4pm – 8pm. Join them on Tuesday, August 12th, 2025, at the Historic US 23 Drive-in, located on Fenton Road between Hill Road and Maple Road. “Bricks Flicks” is a family-oriented party brought to you by their Sponsor, Huntington Bank. The FREE event is open to the public, along with Classic Cruisers, and there is no charge for entry. Gates open at 4 pm. Parking for Family vehicles will be to the rear of the theater lot, leaving the front parking spaces for the Cruisers during the car show. Spectators may move to any open spot after the car show, 4pm – dusk. Get ready for a wild ride with this year’s featured film:  Slo-Mo – The Sloth Who Dared to Dream Fast!

The food pantry is open on Tuesdays from 11AM–1PM. Anyone in need of food is welcome, regardless of residency. Guests may visit the pantry once a month.

Bike On Bricks! 410 S Saginaw Street in Flint! September 5th – 7th. Motorcycle event and Police Skills Competition that occurs the weekend after Labor Day Annually. 

Davison Farmers Market. 8110 Court Street, Davison, MI. September 6th from 9am – 5pm. Find fresh and unique goods at their local market, including farm-fresh produce, meats, cheese, dairy, baked goods, flowers, and more!

Free Yoga Wednesdays. 5:30pm-6:30pm. Flint Local 432. Free Yoga Wednesdays by Howl & Heal Sanctuary, LLC Join them almost every Wednesday from 5:30–6:30 PM at Flint Local 432 for a beginner-friendly, slow-flow yoga session designed to help you move, breathe, and unwind. When the weather is nice, they take their practice outdoors to some of the best spots in downtown Flint—including the rooftop of the parking garage for an incredible view while you flow. This class is completely free and open to all levels. Just bring yourself, comfortable clothing, and a yoga mat if you have one (they have a few extras if you don’t). See you on the mat!
